Well, the trading of stock takes place at the Stock Exchange. These are special Markets where buyers and sellers come together to buy and sell stocks. In South Africa, the stock exchange is the Johannesburg Stock Exchange(JSE). At the JSE, there is a methodical and well organized system of trading, in which the price of any stock is set purely by rule of supply and demand, in an auction setting. It is the work of Specialists to help match buyers and sellers, but shares are always sold to the highest bidder. The buying and selling of stock is the work of a full-service Broker - you place your order with him/her and within minutes you receive confirmation that your order has been completed and thereafter, you are a proud new owner of a chosen company's stock until you sell at a profit. #Buy when its Low, Sell when its High!
